Acro Dance
RMDC utilizes the Acrobatic Arts curriculum. This class will focus on fundamental acrobatic technique. Students will learn such things as handstands, chest stands, forearm stands, cartwheels, bridges, balance, and contortion tricks. This class is great for students looking to enhance their agility, flexibility, and strength.
Mini Acro Dance
Ages 4-7
Acrobatic Arts Levels Primary-Level 2
Class will safely introduce skills such as bridges and bridge kick overs, headstands, bridge, backward rolls, handstands and cartwheels. Dancers will work to gain strength and flexibility to develop strong technique in these skills as well.
Beginning Acro Dance
Ages 6+
Acrobatic Arts Levels Primary-Level 3
Class will safely introduce skills such as bridges and bridge kick overs, headstands, bridge, backward rolls, handstands and cartwheels. Dancers will work to gain strength and flexibility to develop strong technique in these skills as well.
Intermediate Acro Dance

Acrobatic Arts Levels Level 3-Level 5
Class will continue to grow a dancer's technique in progressed skills such as chest stands, forearm stands, front limbers, side aerial drills and walkovers. Having an increased stregnth and flexibility ability is vital to the safe development of these skills. Dancers placed in this class can:
Square Splits 6 inches from the floor (Right, Left & Center)
Toes 6 inches from head in cobra stretch
Hold a plank, superhero, table top, wall sit and Vsit for at least 30 seconds
Perform 20 consecutive upper body lifts
Hold a bridge and a handstand at the wall for 20 seconds
Advanced Acro Dance

Acrobatic Arts Levels Level 5-Pre-Pro 3
Dancers in this class have a solid foundation of Acro Dance and are working towards hand balancing, skill variations, back handsprings, front aerials and Arabians. Having an increased stregnth and flexibility ability is vital to the safe development of these skills. Dancers placed in this class can:
Square Splits 4 inches from the floor (Right, Left & Center)
Toes 4 inches from head in cobra stretch
Hold a plank, superhero, table top, wall sit and Vsit for at least 50 seconds
Perform 30 consecutive upper body lifts
Hold a bridge and a handstand at the wall for 30 seconds
