Desarae Niichel

Des has been dancing for 10 years. Originally from San Diego, California she moved to Arizona at the age of 10 and grew up in Mesa ever since. Des is a Skyline High School graduate and was a member of the Ascension dance team for 3 years. She studied jazz, musical theater, contemporary, acro, tap, lyrical and ballet. She attended many competitions and conventions where she was awarded scholarships to places such as broadway dance center. She started training as an assistant teacher at the age of 13 for many classes and  has been an official teacher for RMDC for 6 years. Des is currently a performer as a dancer for the sunset pioneers, and has recently started doing some modeling and acting.
